There could be some Lautzenhausser's, we inquired about any Lautzen... names and checked telephone books in the that area of Germany, but we didn't find any at all nor did any locals know of any.
I have only casual German, so we didn't pursue any church records; maybe next time.Have you been to Germany? If so have you been to that area? It's southwest of Alf (on the Mosel River) and northeast of Trier (next to Luxemburg) and on the eastern sideof the Mosel.
You can't find it on a map unless you have a map book that shows all of the little dorfs, etc.
A cousin in Oklahoma is researching our branch; I hope it's better than those internet researches that they advertise. My dad bought one of those; it was juat an internet listing of Loutzrnhiser names and addresses from the internet.
In the Los Angeles library, I once found the history of another family who had married a Loutzenhiser (I don't remember the details - only a couple of lines in there book.); no children. The Loutzenhiser book in the Oaklamd Mormon name library and the L A library had disappeared.
When I have time I hope to join the Lotzenhiser chat room.
