Edna Malissa Love and other Loves from Ala to Ms
I dont know if you are still doing family tree stuff but I do need some help. The Love family seems to be the most prolific undocumented muddled up family to trace.I have traced all my other family lines but this one leaves me fit to be tied.Ancestry is not an option at this point in my life (grandkids took over),all the family ties that I have I have tried to peice meal from what others have written down so it may def NOT be correct at all.I have been trying to trace the line thru James (the weaver) but now i found there might be a possiblity that the line is through Alexander...........
here is what I know: my 3rd great grandmother was Edna Malissa Love who married William Wortham "Buck" Hamblett. Her parents, were Isaac Love and Nancy ( re Nancy, I dont have proof as yet but it might be Cooper as Malissa'sfirst born son was named John cooper).I know that they came from St Clair county Alabama. She married "Buck" Hamblett in Yalobusha county Mississippi and settled near Coffeeville. Additionally I also know there might be Choctaw.Someone once told me there was Choctaw blood but he didnt know where.Looking at the photo of Malissa, it looks like she might be the one with the Choctaw blood.
the rest of the line is conjecture:
Isaac's Parents >>>Robert Love and Mary (not sure but might be Sadler ) .....Robert loves parents; >>Benjamin Love and Unknown.>>>James love(the weaver) .wife Martha??....now someone tells me that I might also be from the Alexander line.........
I need parents names, sibling names .........any references etc i need HELP lol =))
