Hi there,
I am keen to follow up on your offer of what happened to 'your' James Lovely's line.
I am descended from William Lovely (born ca 1811 in Needham Market) and Eliza Chapman, who were married in Lakenham, Norfolk on 4th August 1834. Their son, James Chapman Lovely born 22 Dec 1842 in Kensington, London, was my Great Great Grandfather (he emigrated to Australia ca 1865-66).
William's father was James Lovely and his mother was Elizabeth. In the 1851 Census, Grandson James Chapman Lovely was staying with his grandparents in Needham, James Lovely Age: 79 (est. Birth year 1772, born Creeting NK, suffolk) and Elizabeth Lovely, Age 69 (est birth year 1882, born Creeting NK).
I am wondering if there is a connection between our Lovely families?
Thanks
