She was the dau. of Richard Jr. JACOB Born: 24 Jul 1760 and Elizabeth KELLOGG Born: 1757/58 Sheffield, Brkshr., Ma.
By the 1840's Samuel LUCKEY was living in Rochester, Monroe County, NY. And living next to John LUCKEY a farmer(House 135/Unknown Relationship). Samuel was living 134 North, and was pastor FIRST METHODIST CHURCH corner of Buffalo & N. Fitzhugh Sts, had been preacher at both St. John's and at First, and then Presiding Elder of the Rochester District. Also was General Editor of the Christian Advocate and Journal. By 1860 was living at 76 Monroe. by 1866 he was The Chaplain Monroe County Penitentiary, and living at house 40 W. Alexander with his 3rd wife Maria. Monroe County Penitentiary was located south of town on South RD near MT Hope Cemetery. Now part of a Park Area.

The LUCKEY familey in about 1870 lived in or near Section 4 and 13 of Downtown Rochester, near the inter sections of Monroe (31) and Alexander (Near MT Hope Ave.) South Ave runs in front of the Penetencery sec 14 (4th Ward or the Highland Park area) and continues north to sec 13. across Alexander near Monroe.
