Edward Lucy b.1763 m.Isabella McGraw at First Christ's Church, Philadelphia on 5 Feb 1788. By 1800 they were in Brooke Co,VA/WVA,by 1810-1816 they went across Ohio River into Columbiana Co, OH where Edward Lucy d.28 Jan 1816. His widow, Isabelle Lucy and son Edward Lucy b.1793 in DE or PA remained in Columbiana Co, OH. Edward b.1783 entered land at Zanesville (OH) land office in 1829. In 1818 Edward's son Webb J. Lucy was b. in Dayton, OH. Other Lucy family members remained in that area of OH when Edward b.1783 and his family moved to N.E. Indiana, Cass & White Cos where descendants remain to present day. In 1880s some of Edward's des. went west to NE Kansas where des. remain to date, and later into OKlahoma Territory after run. This is a numerous branch of the LUCY family in America yet over many years I have found only 2 or 3 descendants. Children of Edward Sr. & Isabelle McGraw Lucy: WILLIAM,EDWARD,CHARLES,FRANCIS and 3 daughters whose given names I do not have. Children of Edward Jr. & Christiana Roller: WILLIAM,WEBB,JOHN M.,EDWARD III,ISRAEL LUCY. William R. Lucy b.22 Jan 1816 Columbiana Co,OH m. Elizabeth Hicks in 1843 White Co,IN. They had 10 children, but I have name of only one, William H. Lucyb.17 May 1847 in White Co,IN. I descend from Webb J. Lucy b.1818 OH and his wife Sarah Wiley who had their 13 children in White/Cass Cos, IN and went west to KS. John M. Lucy and Edward IV Lucy died in 1844 & 1855 without marrying. Edward II and Christiana Roller Lucy had daughters, but do not have any of their names. Many, many members of this family and allied families are buried in Davis Cem.,on White/Cass Co,IN line on US Hwy 24. Their stones are still standing and readable. Isn't there anyone in Lucy research who has PA/DE,WVA,OH,IN,KS,OK Lucys? This Edward line is probably linked to Brunswick Co,VA Lucy line, but could be separate entirely. Also does anyone here have New England Lucys/Luceys? This family could be a branch of that line.
