Richard Lunt, whose middle initial may have been H, married the widow Abigail Walls on April 22, 1848. Both were of Long Island Plantation, but were married on Swans Island. Both are in Blue Hill Bay. It would appear that Abigail had children — maybe Hannah and Lafayette — by her first husband, but I can't be sure.
I do not know much about the Walls family, other than that there were several during this era on Long Island.
However, Richard's parents were Abner Lunt Sr. and Jane Dawes, who moved to Long Island in the 1820s. And Abner Lunt's parents were Amos Coffin Lunt Sr. and Elizabeth Hodgdon.
I am fairly well versed in this line of Lunts and Long Island history. If you have additional questions, please email me.
