Mike, Are you sure that Elizabeth Lacey Lusk was not named Elizabeth Harper Lacey rather than "Hopper"?Her mother was Jane HARPER so I think that would have been her middle name, don't you?I have the marriage of Elizabeth Lacey to George Vance Lusk in KY in Dec. 1808.Is that correct?Adelia Lacey, b. 1792 m. William Sandefur in KY 25 Aug 1806 and this is one of my Lacey lines. My other Lacey line is via William Lacey and Mary "Polly" Sandefur. What do you have on George Vance Lusk to place him in Monroe Co., MS?My guess is they all moved from KY together down to AL in 1816.I understand that some of the line lived in Aliceville or Ethelsville near Gordo or Reform which are little towns OUT FROM Tuscaloosa, AL (all Pickens Co., AL).Edward Lacey, Jr. and the Burgin line are buried in Pine Grove Cemetery on AL Hwy. 26 only 5 miles from the MS/AL State line.My George Edwin Lacey was born to William Lacey,Jr. and Mary Elizabeth Tarrant Lacey in Jefferson Co., AL in abt. 1849 for he was 7 mos old when the census was taken in 1850.He moved to Union Co., MS and I have not been able to trace his tracks from AL to there.Have you ever grouped all the kin who travelled to Leon Co., TX?They seemed to be traveling south and west.I will now do a search on the Texas On-Line site to find your Lusks people there.
