Hi! I am Judy Schrader, descendant of Theodore Dreesen who is the father of the Elizabeth Lux in your query. My great-grandfather was Peter Dreesen, brother to Elizabeth. What I can tell you briefly is that Henry Lux was the son of M.and E. (Mier) Lux of Bow Valley, Nebraska. He was born in Prussia in January of 1842.He married Elizabeth Dreesen, born in Rheidt, Germany, Oct. 24, 1856.Her parents were Theodore Dreesen and Agnes Muxen.Henry and Elizabeth were married in Bow Valley on March 2, 1878.The Dreesens (Theodore, Agnes, and toddler Elizabeth came to the U.S. On the ship Belgique, landing in New York on June 20, 1857.They moved to Wisconsin, and then on to Nebraska some years later.Henry died Jan. 20, 1925, and Elizabeth died March 23, 1939.Both are buried in a small cemetery that is becoming difficult to even find anymore. It is called the Tara Hill cemetery, about five miles or so southeast of Newcastle, Nebraska.I also have a better transcription of the names of the families in the various censuses, but I have quite a bit of confusion concerning the family members nonetheless.I would love to communicate and share information since this is a line in progress for me.I'm so glad you wrote.
