I am researching John Liddemore /Lydamore born 1806 Hunnington Suffolk with possible parents William and Mary. The name back then was Lydamore - The below is some of the family that may or may not belong to me
LIDDAMORE / LIDDARMORE / LIDDERMORE / LIDERMORE etc. Ann (1778- ) Anna Maria (1852-1879) Anne (1866- ) George (1857- ) Hannah (1789- ) Harry (1868- ) James (1786- ) James (1828-1890) James (1861-1870) John (1776- ) John (1834- ) Mary (1774- ) Mary (1831- ) Mary Ellen (1864- ) Richard 1794 - ) Sarah (1859-1953) Susanna (1782- ) William (-1808 ) William (1784-1863 ) William (1855- )
William LIDDERMORE was christened on 2 May 1784 in Euston, Suffolk1. He died on the 11 October 1863 in Euston2 and was buried on the 16 Oct 1863 in Euston1.
His occupations have been recorded as :- Agricultural Labourer at Euston Hall (1841 Census) Gardener (1851, 1861 Census)
Recorded addresses :- Euston, Suffolk (Baptism 1784, Marriages 1810, 1816, 1827, Census 1841, 1851, 1861)
Another Liddermore/Liddamore researcher has "claimed" this William as being in their line. However they have not provided confirming data such as censuses etc. However my line is very definite and is confirmed by - - Bible entry with the details of his children's births including his son James, my ancestor. - 1841 & 1851 Censuses confirming William's age, place of birth, spouse and family, including his son James (my line). - There is only one William in Euston in the censuses and in the Parish Register in the relevant time frame and these serve to confirm my line only.
On his marriage to Sarah (Sally) Cracknell, William was shown as a widower. However there is evidence that William had been married twice before to :
1st - Letitia (Letty) MASH/MAISH on 22 Jan 1810 in Euston1. Letitia was baptised on the 9 May 1779 in Euston1 and was buried on the 6 Jan 1811 in Euston1. She had two illigitmate children prior to her marriage to William :- - Ann baptised 5 Nov 17971, buried 31 May 1799 in Euston1, and - Sara baptised 6 Mar 1800 in Euston1. The father(s) were not named and it is not known what became of Sara.
