Catherine-
Glad to help. With regards to Mehitable Robinson, I have her dob as APR. 6, 1738 in Exeter, Rockingham, NH.Father was John Robinson (1709-1789) and mother was Elizabeth Folsom.John was the son of John Robinson (1671-1755) and his wife Mehitable Stanyon (1676-1749).With regards to the Abenaki connection I have nothing concrete, although my late grandfather insisted that there was Native American blood in the family and not that far back.I am almost to the point of thinking that our Sylvira Roe could be that connection.I am coming to that because almost every other branch I have for him I have been able to verify going back quite a few generations.Secondly, looking at the Abenaki information I have there were/are reservations in the Three Rivers area of Canada where some of the family had ties. Also, a group of the Abenaki were put on reservations in northern Maine in Penobscot, where our people keep showing up also.As a kid I used to spend alot of time with my grandfather in northern Vermont where he had a place he retired to and talked alot about looking these things up but never got around to it.After he died I decided to start the search, and now, almost ten years later I am still at it.I have to wonder if your Georgianna knew my Georgianna...
