I think you are correct in thinking there is something something wrong with the info you have.As far as I know, Alexander Lymburner b1770, Maine, died December 1st, 1812.(Believe he died in war of 1812.)He marriedCatherine SecordMerritt (widow of William Merritt ) after Merritt's death in 1797.Catherine & William had 3 children.Catherine and Alexander had 4 children:Harriet b 1801,JayJohn b 1803, Cyrenes b. 1810 and Eliza dob unknown. If these facts are accurate, then Jay John would be 9 years old at the time of his father's death and highly unlikely that he would have been taking care of Alexander's will. Are there any legible dates on the documents?Jay John went on to marry Sarah Melick and they had 9 or 10 children (including a son Alexander, b.1824).You mention Younge St.Where?Would this be Yonge St. inToronto?I read somewhere about another Lymburner having property in Toronto but can't remember which one.I would be very interested to know the contents of these documents. Catherine's 3rd marriage was to Mr. Thomas Bowlby and she is burried in Dockstader cemetery as Catherine Bowlby.
