Deed involving Wm and Susanna Parks to Jane Lyne Parish of Upham, County of Kings and Province of New Brunswick No. 50384
Know all men by these presents that William Parks of the Parish of Upham in the County of Kings and Province of New Brunswick (Farmer) and Susanna his wife for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars lawful money of Canada to the said William Parks and Susanna his wife in hand will and truly paid by Jane Lyne wife of one George Lyne of the Parish and County aforesaid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged.Have granted, bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Jane Lyne all of a certain lot piece or parcel of land situate lying and being in the Parish of Upham in the county of King and Province of New Brunswick and described as follows:Beginning at a stake on the north end of land granted to George Robson Sen. And at the corner of the Presbyterian Graveyard thence north ninety five chains more or less along the west side line of land granted to the Madras School now owned by the said William Parks thence west nine chains more or less to the northeast corner of land owned by one Samuel Lyne thence south ninety five chainsmore or less to a stake thence east nine chains to place of beginning containing seventy five acres more or less ____ the easterly side and half of a lot of land granted to Robert Godfrey on the twentieth day of November AD 1826 and numbered on said grant 2038 together with all the estate right title interest dower claim or claim and of the said William Parks and Susanna his wife of in or to the said described and bargained premises to have and to hold the before described premises with all the improvements and privileges belonging to the same unto the said Jane Lyne her heirs and assigns forever and the said William Parks and Susanna his wife for themselves their heirs executors and administrators doeth here by warrant to and with the said Jane Lyne her heirs and assigns that they are lawfully seized of the before granted and bargained premises and have good right to bargain and sell the same in manner and form as before written and that they will warrant and forever defend the same unto the said Jane Lyne her heirs and assigns against the lawful claims or demands of all persons whomsoever in witness whereof the said William Parks and Susanna his wife have here unto set their hands and seals this twenty seventh day of January in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and ninety seven.
