Following are two genealogy reports concerning the Lytles of Orange County, North Carolina.This is what I have recorded in my database.The first chart list the descendants of Andrew and Sarah Stout Lytle; the second list the descendants of John and Sarah Lytle Nichols.I do not usually list colleral lines so the information is sparse.However it may help fill in some gaps.I am not sure how this will appear on the page. I am sorry that I do not have time to put this in better order.
1. Andrew Lytlewas born in 1751 in Pennsylvania. He died in Sep 1777 in Battle of Brandywine, Pennsylvania.

St.It is to be divided in thirds: 1/3 to Sarah Lytle, widow of Robert Lytle, including
mansion; 1/3 to Sarah Lytle, Widow of Andrew Lytle; and 1/3 to William Lytle, Esq.
son and heir of Robert Lytle.
31 May 1787, in a petition of Sarah Lytle. widow of Robert Lytle, Sarah Lytle,
Widow of Andrew Lytle, and Archibald Lytle, ordered Sheriff summon a Jury of 12
good men unconnected by consanguity and affinity to lay off 1/3 part of Lott No. 24 to
Sarah Lytle, widow of Ro. Lytle, & 1/3 part of remainder to Sarah Lytle, widow of
Andrew married Sarah Stout . Sarah was born, on 10 Feb 1754, in Pennsylvania. She died in Williamson, Tennessee.

2. Senator William Lytle(Andrew) was born in 1779 in Orange, North Carolina. He died in Jan 1839 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee.
