I don't have any info on them...but looking at the 1850 census it is possible this is the same people. My Lee and Mary had a daughter Elizabeth. She Mar my husbands 2c3r, John Phillip Waters one of their sons was named Henry LEANDER (LEE) Waters.
Elizabeth and John lived in NC. They are on the 1870c and 1880c, Ashe Co., NC. I can't seem to find Elizabeth and her Mabe family in 1860; wonder if they all moved from VA to NC or if just Elizabeth moved who moved. She had two children - a son 1857 named Filmore Mabe and Daughter named Mary Mabe.Mary Mabe is listed as stepdaughter to John Waters on the 1880 census but both her and Filmore were listed as Waters (Wanton) on the 1870... the names on all the US censuses are mostly spelled wrong so it makes it really hard to trace...
