Don - I KNOW we're related somehow. I'm descended from David Mabray who was sheriff of Yalobusha Co. MS and moved to Rusk Co. TX whose son was Jasper Newton Mabray, co-founder of Bosque Co. TX and first county clerk there who was the father of the first white child born there (Martha). He was also a Texas Ranger who served with Jack Coffee Hays at Monterey Mexico during that little skirmish after Texas became a part of the US.
CANNOT get further back than David. Can you help? I've got much info from J.N. forward and gladly will share! Email me, okay? - Laura
P.S. Checked out your web page - it's pretty cool.
