Don't know if this info. is connected to your family tree or not, but this is what I have learned so far.
Tony Macaluso born 1863? in Italy, married Pauline born 1875? Italy around 1893.They arrived in NY around 1900 with their three children, John born 1896?, Sasa born 1898?, and Louis born 1900?(by what I found in the census, the children were born in Palermo, Italy as were the parents). They lived on Throop Ave., in Brooklyn, NY during the 1910 census and had two more children, Frances born 1902? and Ado born 1904?(both children were born in NY).
During the 1920 census I found John living on Evergreen Ave., in Brooklyn, NY with his wife Maude(Schieding) and their daughter Pauline born 6/1918 in NY.(Haven't had much luck with the rest of the family though.)
During the 1930 census John and Maude were still living in Brooklyn, NY on Stanhope Street. They had three more children since the 1920 census, Christopher born 1922?, Julia born 1925?, and Charles born 1928?
Found a marriage certificate for Pauline. She married Edward Lane on January 7, 1935 at 369 Stockholm Street, in Brooklyn, NY.She was 16 at the time.
And that is where my trail runs dry.I put ? marks by the year of birth because my information is coming off the census and I am going by the ages at the time of census. So I could be off a year.
If we somehow are related, would love to hear back from you or anyone else that might be related.Email me direct. Thanks!
