About thirty years ago I bought a set of three hardwood planes, stamped on the front end (of each) "Macey & Hamilton, Nashville, Tenn."One of my students at the time researched this company in Nashville city directories, and I still have her notes, which may be of genealogical interest to someone.No census research was involved, so I do not have family group records, nor other information about this family, to which I am unrelated.
