I came across this information, during my search for my own Indiana McIntyres, in a book somewhere along the way (don't remember the source) and there was a photo of that vehicle outside what appeared to be a barn like structure - could have been where they were making the cars.
The Auburn Auto was also produced in the same town of Auburn, De Kalb Co., Indiana - North of Fort Wayne, IN.
The following came off the internet at the following link:
McIntyre W. H. McIntyre Co. Auburn 1909-15 McIntyre Special W. H. McIntyre Co. Auburn 1911-15
I've long wondered if the W. H. stood for my great grandfather's name of "William Henry" McEntire who was born in Indiana, but married and lived in Southern Illinois. He was the son of a John or John William McEntire, born in Scotland and married an Irish lass.
I only mention it out of a hope that one day I might discover the rest of my elusive MacIntyres going on back into Ireland and Scotland. It's been years of hitting that brick wall over and over again.
