Another little note the family known as The Roman Johns, were a MacMillan family of Finch, Ontario (about 20 miles west of St. Andrews) There is a MacMillan Cemetary in Finch - there appears to be a connection of the Rev. William A. MacDonell (late Bishop of Alexandria) Alexandria about 30 miles east of St.Andrews - as well as a "Nicholson" MacDonald connection, Rev. Ewen J. MacDonald connection , a "Deaf Alex" MacDonald connection (David's father) and a connection to the Scott family of St. Andrews and much more.
