After he came from Scotland the Donald in my family married a Margaret McKay in 1844 - they lived in Grand Anse, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia - they had a number of children including Rebecca, Catherine and Alexander, but no Colin. Are your Donald and Colin connected to Cape Breton?
