Sorry for my late answer. At home I'm busy with my study. Tuesday (10.31.00) I must do a test. I study Assurances. I work at a Assurance-company. It's called Delta LLoyd. A daughter-company of CGU (Commercial Union-General Accident), perhaps You know this company. I do bussiness-liability. OK enough about me.
If have my documents/information from Mea Macrander from Rotterdam. She got it from Gerard from Arnhem, I think. Mea is the daughter of T.A. Macrander from Eindhoven. That mister Kleyn from Zeist has written to my uncle (T.A. Macrander) in 1960 (18th nov). Mr. Kleyn wrote that he found a weapon of the family mAcrander (not mIcrander). He wrote that he didn't know if the weapon belonged to ancestors of T.A. Macrander, but that the name Macrander was too rare to presume that there was not a connection to all Macranders. I don't know if mr. Kleyn was to be trusted, but I know he examined also the roots of Prince Claus of the Netherlands. Husband of Queen Beatrix. I have an old newspapermessage of it. I know this all doesn't say much, but I never heared of Micrander before. I have a picture of the weapon. The picture shows a weapon with 3 "morgensterns" (I don't know the English translation, but it are 3 sticks with a ball on top with sharp points). I have a picture of it. If I'm correct: You don't believe that it belongs to the Macranders?
Hartelijke groeten uit Nederland, Frank.
