Just got back from a little research in rutherford, wilson, putnam and davidson counties,tn. Addison Maddux appears in the 1870 jackson co.,census. I still haven't found where he is buried. By 1880 Albert and Alfred, the twin sons of Addison, had moved to rutherford co.,tn with their families. The 1880 rutherford county census has Alfred(44) his wife Mary J. (36) and their children Willie(18) Carrie(14) Lucy(12) Martha(7) Thomas(4)and Archie(2). A three volume set on rutherford county tennessee cemetery records had this family buried at tucker cemetery, but this was moved by the army corps of engineeers in 1965 to make way for Percy Priest Lake. I found the corps of engineer records at the gore center at MTSU(Middle Tennessee State University). The Corps of Engineers lists the tucker cemetery as #62. Alfred was grave 34 and Mary was 35.
Carrie Lee Garrett is grave 24. There are more Garrets and Maddux's removed from the tucker cemetery and taken to Mt. Juliet. The code for finding any particular grave seems to be #62/whatever grave number it was. From the older books on rutherford co. cemeteries Carrie Lee Garrett, wife of J.A. Garrett b. may 31,1865 d. feb,28 1895. good luck, stephen.
