According to Calvin Mahaney of Fair Play, MD, who researched Susanna's birthplace, it was said Boonsboro was actually in Washington county, Maryland.The Lower Antietam Hundred was a Washington county district from 1759.It is bordered on the west by Antietam Creek, east by the Washington/Frederick county boundary on top of South Mountain, and the Potomac River on the south.The town of Boonsboro was located in the Lower Antietam Hundred.
