Here is what i have on Amasa Mehurin:
AMASA MEHURIN ( 1762-1820 ), with first wife EUNICE GALPIN and second wife BETSEY HUTCHINS: Federal Census Records: 1800 Middletown Springs, VT: 1 male under 10, 1 male 26-45; 3 females under 10, 1 female 26-45.1810 Middletown Springs, VT: 2 males under 10, 1 male 10-16, 1 male over 45; 1 female under 10, 2 females 10-16, 1 female 16-26, 1 female 26-45.
Children, born at Middletown Springs, VT:
Susanna Mehurin, b. 22 April 1794, m. 23 Jan 1814 Elisha Hutchins.
Lucretia Mehurin, b. 26 Nov 1795, m. 13 Feb 1824 Isaac Ney or Nye.
Daniel Mehuron, b. 6 Jan 1798, head of household 1820 Census, no further data.
Armina Mehurin, b. ca. 1799, m. 22 Nov 1829 Charles Denison; both d. in Michigan, leaving 2 sons.
Eunice Mehurin, b. ca. 1807, m. ----- Gilbert, lived in East Enosberg, VT.
++ AMASA MEHURIN, b. ca. 1808.
Asaph L. Mehurin, b. ca. 1810.
++AMASA MEHURIN, was born about 1808 at Middletown Springs, Vermont; he reportedly removed from Vermont about 1832. He married MARY DORAN in 1850 at Dubuque, Iowa. He died in 1891 at Marietta, Minnesota.
Children, plus 2 boys who died young;
Lucretia Mehurin, b. ca. 1854, age 75 as of 1929, unmarried.
Mary Mehurin, m. Charles Jason Davis, had a daughter Clara M. Davis who was living at Marietta, MN in 1929.
My information does not talk of a Mary Murphy but Mary Doran.Hope this helps you.
