Mrs.G.Thomas Evans. Mrs.Rose Apgar Evans,81,died yesterday afternoon at the Warren Hospital.She had been ill for two years.Mrs.Evans resided at the home of her son-in-law and daughter,Mr.and Mrs.T.Madison Cowell,501 Mixsell St.,Easton.Mrs.Evans was the widow of G.Thomas Evans,Born Dec 12,1875,in High Bridge,she was a daughter of the late Lambert B.and Henrietta Cronce Apgar.She had lived in Easton and Phillipsburg most of her life.She was a member of First Methodist Church,Easton.Surviving,in addition to her daughter,are a son,Charles Frederick Major,Phoenix,Ariz.;a sister Mrs.William Sutphen,Easton;two grandchildren,and two greatgrandchildren.The funeral will be held at 2 p.m.Friday at the Heck Memorial Home,Easton.

The funeral of Mrs.Rose Apgar Evans,81,was held this afternoon at the Heck Memorial Home,Easton.Mrs.Evans,widow of Y.Thomas Evans,died Tuesday at Warren Hospital.She resided at the home of her son-in-law and daughter,Mr.and Mrs.T.Madison Cowell,501 Mixsell St.,Easton.The Rev.Carl R.Hammerly,pastor of First Methodist Church,officated.Interment was in Easton Heights Cemetery.The pallbearears,all members of First Methodist Church,were Stanley F.Hahn,J.Wallace Larsen,Frank Wolslayer,and Lee Matherws.
