I cant help you with the parents of James Mallalieu, but I am related to George William Mallalieu who was born around 1894, in the UK. His wife was called Emily (Nee Lord) and they were involved in Cotton Machinery manufacturing, and Iron Plate Moulding. This was my grandfather, I will try and get his exact date of birth. My father was Nelson Mallalieu, born in 1914 in Oldham County UK. I have 3 brothers all of which were born in UK and I was born in Rhodesia.I have come across only one other family of Mallalieu's in South Africa and there was a striking family resemblance!!!Plus they were also involved in the Cotton Machinery business. We have been trying to find out more information about the Mallalieu family tree throughout the world, so I would appreciate it if you have any information that would help me. I know we have a family crest that dates back to the French Revolution (im told)but do not know what it looks like. I am currently living in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates and would like to hear from you.
