TOMS RIVER—Mary Grill Malloy, 85, died Monday (Sept. 17, 2001) at Kimble Medical Center, Lakewood. Born in Somerville, she lived there for more than 40 years, and then in Bridgewater for two years. Mrs. Malloy moved to Toms River in 1958.
She graduated Somerville High School in 1935, and graduated Eastern XRay School in New York City in 1945.
She worked for Pecora's Medical Center in Toms River as an X-ray technician for 15 years, and retired in 1979. Formerly she worked as an X-ray technician for Somerset Medical Center in Somerville from 1947 until 1953. Mrs. Malloy was a member of Calvary Chapel of Toms River.
She was predeceased by her husband, Peter Malloy; her sister Eleanor, and two brothers, James and Charles Grill.
She is survived by her sister Helen of Belford.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Cusick Funeral Home, 80 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Union Avenue, Somerville. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
