My long association with Randolph Malone, author of both Malone and Allied Families publ. in 1986, and Malone and Allied Families Second and Revised edition, and access to his records and research and research has not altered the standing of Isham C. Malone as the oldest child of Christopher Malone and his wife, Elizabeth Bird Chaffin Malone. First, the only Malones found in the records of Wilkes Co., Georgia are George Malone, wife Martha, sons Francis and Sherrod Malone and Christopher Malone who married Elizabeth Chaffin Malone on 14 January 1811..the Chaffin's being neighbors of the Malones in Wilkes Co., Georgia-and the LWT of Isham Chaffin dtd. 2 May 1822 naming his children including a daughter Elizabeth Malone. In finding the first child named Isham C. (is it Isham Christopher or after her father, Isham Chaffin Malone?) The records of the descendants of Isham C. Malone and his wife do not dispute the father of their ancestors, and although none showed a bible, many mentioned their ancestors proof by bible records. In 2010 (January 12) Randy Malone retired from active Malone research and book selling and passed the helm to me, with his unsold books-Malone and Allied Families, Second and revised edition.I can see the spelling of a descendant as you show the alternate for Eliza, by their correspondence. If you would e-mail me privately at firstname.lastname@example.org I can give you the name of some of these descendants giving information to Randy, and would welcome any records you have regarding your descent.
