My e-mail address to this forum is correct, so you can contact me and I will try to fill you in as best as I can on why Randy has "changed his mind" about the Isham Malone lineage.A person had claimed to have had a will of Drury Malone, d. 1745 when in fact after much tracking down etc. between 1986 and 1996 found the source of the will after much tracking in Texas and admitted that "she was just supposing" . There was no such will of Drury, d. 1745. The first book of course caused many people to contact Randy Malone (I am one such person) and because of so much response he published a revised and second edition.. When the book went to press in 1996 there still was no proof of parentage of Isham Malone (or the line of Drury who supposedly died in 1745) but there is much new documentation which points to a probable but not proven father of Isham and his siblings. If you think you can prove Isham's parents, I surely would love the documentation.I believe some positive DNA results have grouped the descendants of Isham and other lines of men born same time and same area....There are two largest sized loose-leaf notebooks in my possession given to me by Randy Malone to search through and if you will contact me, I will see what I can to clear this up...I know at one time the Dallas Public Library had a copy-if not let me know.
