George James Mansell (b Liverpool 1849) was a watch case maker like his father Joseph (born Bow?) who worked in Liverpool.
GJ married Jane (1881 census, no sign yet in FreeBMD or Liverpool BMD). By 1881 had three daughters and a son George and worked in Coventry employing one boy; but by the 1901 census he and Jane were living in Hornsey Middlesex and he was an examining merchant. His three daughters Mary, Jessie and Nora were all telegraphists
