Currently I don't know that as I'm currently focusing on the Swinnock part of the family- two of whom married Maplesdens. Dorothy Maplesden married Thomas Swinnock in 1622 (I think) and her sister Margaret Maplesden married Robert Swinnock in 1613.
The Maplesdens primarily, but also the Swinnocks to a lesser extent were extremely powerful in the town at the time as they were Mayors and jurats during the 1500s and 1600s.
Currently I'm battling with sorting out the Swinnocks who were my direct ancestors... the Maplesdens, in my tree are twiglets and not branches. (If you get my meaning).
However, should I stumble upon anything I'll let you know. Although that is likely to be several months down the line in view of the fact that progress is currently rather slow in terms of the Swinnocks.
