Hello My Name is Kathleen and I am working on my family tree. My Mapplebeck side of the family has been a big problem for me because from what information I have been able to find ends at my great grandfather Edward Lemont Mapplebeck. I only know of one brother of his who's name was Fredrick George Mapplebeck born November 1871 in either Nova Scotia Canada/ England this is what it says on the U.S Census from 1900 I have for them. Edward Lemont was my great grandfather and Fred's brother. I have a copie of my g-grandfathers marriage certificate from Brooklyn New York. It says his Father's name was Abram Mapplebeck and his mother's name was Margaret O'Conner. She died on June 7, 1922. I don't know where she died or where she is buried. as for his father Abram I had been told that he died and she remarried. the man she marriedhis name was Edward Garvey who died April 20,1912. Edward Lemont married Mary Josephine Smith they are both buried at Holy Cross Cemetery in Brooklyn New York and so is Fredrick George who married a Catherine Mooney. Fredrick was b November 1871 & d April 14, 1917 and his wife Catherine b February 1872 d February 10, 1931. They did not have any children. Edward Lemont b January 01, 1876 d January 18, 1950 & MaryJosephine b September 06, 1881 d November 17, 1959. they had 7 children. 4 of these children were twins. the first set of twins I have nothing on them. the second set was a boy & girl. born March 04, 1910, the boy died April 24, 1910 and the girl died June 08, 1910 they are buried with their parents at Holy Cross. as for the other three two sons and a daughter the sons both died in 1969 and the daughter my grandmother died in 1976. I have the full names and dates on all these family members but not on Abram Mapplebeck and Margaret Ann O'Conner-Mapplebeck-Garvey. I do not have any pictures of Abram or Margaret.Signed Kathleen B.
