Robert, From your surname I assume that your major interest is in the Mebane family. If by any chance you also want to follow the Marley line I have extensive information. In fact I have written a book on the six Marley families of NC.Your Adam's brother Robert is an ancestor of my wife, Lynn Marley Coffey.
Now to your questions.I have Adam, Jr. as born April 10, 1754 and baptized in the Old Swedes Church in DE on June 3, 1754.I also have his seven brothers and sisters with birth dates places etc.By the way,did you know that Adam, Jr.s younger brother married a Mabene?I also have Adam, Jr.s parents and when and where they were married. In fact, we have visited the church in Wilmington, DE that Adam, Jr.s parents were married in. The marriage was in 1716 and the church today is as much as possible as it was then.We were able to purchase a book from them that included all of their early records. Now back to your questions.I do not have the last name of Adam's wife or when they were married.I have the Ann with the last name unknown.Adam died Aug 27, 1813.Ann probably died before 1800 but I do not have proof of this.Next Question, Robert did single in 1806 in TN.In fact your William was Administrator of the estate.Samuel married Nancy Davis. Now, Adam appears to have had only one wife, Ann.There is 15 years difference in the age of Charity and Samuel because four other children were born in between.Charity was their oldest and Samuel the youngest.I have the other children with birth dates and spouses except for the number three child. Now on Charity and William.I have his parents (William and Mary Nelson Mabene), when and where Charity and Wm were married and their children and where Wm died and when and where Charity died.I would guess you already have all of this.I will send you an e-mail with more info on my book in cse you have an interest. The book identifies source on much of the information. Good luck.Let me know if this helped. Jim
