The Ada listed as wife of "UNKNOWN Chaddick" had 13 brothers and sisters. I see no Susan A. as a child of James Enoch.
The "tree" source is found ina paper backed book called The Marsalis Chronicles.(The cover has a rendering I did of the historically accepted Coat of Arms for Pieter. Our Pieter Marcelis or the Pieter Marselis who died in Russia? Who knows!) The book was put together to help raise money for the restoration of the Marsalis Cemetery in Amite Co on the grounds of the old plantation. Work is now ongoing. A fence has been erected and some of the brick vaults restored. A master stone carver is doing markers for the brick vaults of Peter H, and Mary Gordon Marsalis.
The "book's" extensive tree was compiled by Tommy Wixon (descendant of James Enoch Marsalis) from contributions of many Marsalis cousins over 60 years - before the home computer era. It is not guaranteed accuracy but is largely based on family tradition, Bibles and memories. Some dates are estimates.
Your client is welcome to contact me or Tommy Wixon for more info. I will also be happy to post the siblings' names, dates and places.
Incidentally, the only other "Ida" listed in that era is the daughter of James Enoch's brother Franklin Erastus Marsalis. That Ida was born 1876 and was married to Horace Mullins.
