I’m beginning working on our line again and I just found something interesting and was wondering if anyone else has seen.
I found a book called “The Registers of St. Botolph, Bishopsgate – London – Vol. 2 – with index. It’s a book of burials.
On page 215 there is reference to a Richard MARSEE 20 years old buried on Dec. 16, 1678.
This is the only MARSEE listed in the book. There is 1 MARSEY.Here’s an interesting one and has anyone else seen the spelling this way? MARTEE There is 1 also.Plus a few MASSEY’s.
