James Marston and Nancy Thompson were married on December 12, 1886 at the home of Nancy's father, Pleasant Thompson in the Pine Canyon area near King City, Monterey County, CA. James and Nancy (AKA "Nan") had at least seven known children: Belva, Charles, Elsie, twins; Lawrence and Clarence, Frank and daughter Marguerite. This family lived in the Paso Robles area for many years. The marriage and some of the birth dates of the children appear in the Pleasant Thompson family Bible which is now lost ... but I do have a copy.
I know nothing about the ancestry of James Marston but have a lot of information on the Thompson lineage.I am looking for descendants ... who would be cousins to myself. My grandfather was Martin L. Thompson (1867-1955) who was Nan's younger brother.I am also connected to Nan's older brother, William Robert Thompson (1855-1891).
If you feel there is a connection, please E-mail me directly at Normhat@aol.com
