Joseph Martineau b c 1803 m. Janet Davidson

Looking for either ancestors or descendants of Joseph Martineau, b. circa 1803 in Quebec, and his wife Janet Davidson from Scotland. Joseph Martineau dropped the "eau" and became known as Joseph Martin, but we don't know when. Joseph Martineau/Martin was alive in Ontario in 1871.

Children of Joseph Martineau and Janet Davidson:

Cyrus Martin, b. Aug 1, 1827;
Elizabeth Martin, b. Sep 2, 1835;
Martha Martin, b. Apr 9, 1839;
Peter Martin, b. Feb 7, 1841.
(All four of these elder siblings were born in Osgoode Township, Carleton Co, Ontario).

John Martin b Jul 17, 1846 North Gower Township, Carleton Co, Ontario;
Orson Martin, b. Jan 22, 1849 Gloucester Township, Carleton County, Ontario;
Joseph Martin, b. Apr 5, 1851, back in Osgoode Township, Carleton Co, Ontario.

There may have been another brother, Josiah Martin, and another sister, Marganda Martin, as well as unknown siblings. Joseph Martin (the son) was the youngest sibling in the family of some 13-14 children of Joseph Martineau and Janet Davidson.

The last child, Joseph Martin, married Catherine Duncan before Oct 1872, in Ontario. She was born Oct 4, 1850 North Gower Township, Carleton Co, Ontario. Her mother was an Edwards. Joseph and Catherine had the following children:

John Mark "Jack" Martin, was born 17 Oct 1872 in Osgoode Township, Carleton Co, Ontario;
Alfred Martin b. 22 Apr 1874;
Robert Martin b 1878;
Minnie E. Martin b. 1883 married James Walter "Pop" Geer (also known as Wally "Pop" Geer);
Harry Martin b 14 Jan 1887 in Noxon, Montana;
They also had sisters Maggie Martin Glover, Nettie Martin Fay, Lizzie Martin, Nellie Martin Bristow.

I am looking for descendants and/or acestors of this line. I have a report on my web page, "Martin Family of Ontario & the Pacific Northwest" describing my Martin family. I would love to share data as well as find *lost* cousins.
