Marvin-Brown family connection
I have uncovered several old graves in a cemetery next to my house. One that was completely buried is for Walter C. Brown who served in the Civil War.He was a NY volunteer for the 56th comopany b. This is indicated on the gravestone.I think he was born about 1842 and died around 1887.Several feet away is a grave for Elsie, wife of Daniel Brown. There is another grave close by that has MARVIN etched at the top.Underneath it reads, Armina (C?) Conklin, Andrew J. Marvin and at the bottom , Myrtle. The cemetary is in Orange County NY.It is in the town of Mt.Hope but close to the town of Wallkill. It is called the Howells Cemetery.I have found plenty of Browns and Marvins but none seem to be connected to these. Can anyone help with my research?
