He was a motor machinist in the Navy, and later had a career as an auto mechanic. He was employed at Bendall Pontiac and later retired from Chandler's Chevrolet in Montross. A member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church in King George County.The widower of Catherine Mattingly, who died in 2003. His eldest daughter Barbara A. Rolph of Sedro Woolley, Wash., predeceased him recently.The brother of Marylou Blasko of Calvert Cliffs,Maryland.
