I'm James. I live in the Baliwick of Guernsey. The Bailiwick lies some 80 miles south of the British mainland in the Channel Islands. It is a small independent State and owes allegiance to HM Queen Elizabeth. There are four main islands, Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm. Alderney and Sark also enjoy some autonomy within the Bailiwick. Guernsey, the largest island, is approximately 24 square miles in area with a population of around 60,000. It is a favourite location for many visiting Hams from all over the world. The capital of Guernsey is St Peter Port and overlooks the Islands of Herm and Sark. In Herm the only way to travel is by foot and in Sark by foot, bicycle or horse and cart as cars are not allowed on the Islands!
Lets move around away from the subject of Guernsey and let me tell you of my surroundings. I'm currently sitting at my good friends house, Tom, and watching Reeves & Mortimer who I find absolutely hilarious, HA HA HA!
I've just had a curry from my favourite Indian resturant, Sitar, which I recommend to any visitor to the Islands.
My favourite pass time is football. I am a Leeds supporter and play in a local 5-a-side league as a goalkeeper for the mighty Real Rossborough - Go Greens Go!, Go Greens Go!, Green and White ROssborough army!, Green and White ROssborough army! is one of the popular chants from our supporters. We have 2 supporters!
I live with my family and our house consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, 1 sitting room, 1 kitchen, a hall way and a garage and utility room. (Its a smashing house!) My favourite feature of the garden is the fish pond. Once when I was younger I fell in it! Just one fund memory of my childhood!
