FRANK J. MAURER
Frank J. Maurer, 72, of Coxsackie, passed away suddenly April 14, 1987, at Greene Memorial Hospital, Catskill.
He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Nov. 16, 1914, son of the late John and Wilhelmina Strohlle Maurer. His wife, the former Lorraine Weisinger, predeceased him in 1986.
He was a retired Conrail employee.
Funeral services with the Rev. Harold Page of the Medway Congregational Christian Church officiating were Saturday, 11 a.m. from the Cunningham Funeral Home, Greenville.
Interment was in the Greenville Cemetery.
Surviving are two sons, Frank and Arthur Maurer; three daughters, Judith Maurer, Mrs. Harry (Louise) Overbaugh and Lorraine Bell, all of Coxsackie; a son, Gerald Maurer, predeceased him. Also surviving are eight brothers, Charles of Hannacroix, Paul of Hannacroix, Ernest of Stottville, Emile of West Athens, Bernard of Long Island, Adolf of Coxsackie, James of Earlton and Edwin of Coxsackie. A brother, John Maurer, predeceased him. Also surviving are three sisters, Rose Stroud of Hannacroix, Minerva Kelsey of Earlton and Eileen Heinz of Coxsackie. A sister, Christie Maurer, predeceased him. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
