my family "mavity" comes from missouri.john mavity/maryann (anderson)married in versailles indiana moved to missouri about 60 miles outside of stansberry. maryann became a dr. later decsendents were john henry and aileen mavity. not sure if there is a connection. it has been hard to find anything on mavity.
