In December I am going to England for some sightseeing and fun. Also, I plan to do some research into our family tree.Specifically I'd like to look into where the tree seems to stop ... the birthplace and parentage of Richard Maxson. When and where exactly was Richard born, and who were his parents?
The only small kernel I've been able to find is that he was born somewhere in England in 1602.In addition everyone seems to agree that he was on board the Griffin in 1634 with his family and the Hutchinson family.
It doesn't take a brain-surgeon to figure that his connection with Anne, which was at least religious, was possibly something stronger (i.e. in-laws, cousins, etc.) since he did follow her all over the globe! As a result I've figured I could start looking in the area where Anne was born (Alford, Lincolnshire, England) to possibly find some clues.
What I'm hoping for with this entry is to see if anyone out there has some further hints that could help me better localize my search.Or, perhaps it's already been found?Either way, your response will be greatly appreciated. As always, thank you for your time.-- Ethan
