Re: DRED MAY

Earlier today I sent you a file about Dred May who married Sarah Davidson. I realize that this is not your Dred but I thought you might be interested in seeing the file.
It's source is Volume 9 of Cases Argured and Determined in the High Court of Errors and Appeals for the State of Mississippi.
In it it states that Dred Mays wife, Sarah Davidson was the daughter of Richard Davidson and his wife Isabella. I'm not sure of Isabellas maiden name.
It is also stated that Richard and Isabella had another daughter named Caroline who married both Felix G. Davidson and Samuel F. Davidson. I assume they were cousins of hers.
Also mentioned with Dred May is William H. Shelton who I think was the son of Thomas Shelton and Sarah Barksdale.
James Y. McNabb is mentioned too. I have found a James Mcnabb listed with Mays before one instance being a James Mcnabb and John May who were listed as privates in the Illinois Territorial Militia in Capt. Alexander's Company in 1811.
