I am looking forward to seeing one and all....there in the cool andbeautiful North Georgia Mountains! (Do be sure to bring your cameras!)Indeed, this will be a gathering of McAfees' to be long remembered and this will be a special opportunity to meet those McAfees' who have long been known via their computer screens and from their fine research efforts.
Jim McAfee of Blairsville, GA has had a life-long interest in the genealogical history of his McAfee family and he is of kinship so many of the McAfees' throughout GA! Jim has much information on the McAfee family and I know that he will gladly share!Jim's research has been over a period of decades, so he may have information which some of us have never known!I understand that there is a tie to Tennessee, so I know there will be many McAfees' interested in his research. My, we ALL wish to catch up with Jim at the festival!
Note: For those of you who may or may not attend the festival, do consider posting re your family line... just as researcher Tina Beller has done, because such updating will be helpful to McAfees' who will be attending the festival and meeting other McAfees'.Who knows who may connect to whom at the festival....this is an exciting thought!Tina, your thoughtfulness in updating your current is timely and very much appreciated....and it helped me out!
