New Input:I have Jack as the son of Timothy McAuliffe and his first spouse (name unknown) and being one of nine children; Reverend Mother Katherine (sister)' Louie (teacher)(brother), John (Geologist & Customs Officer)(brother)' Alfred, nicknamed "Alfee" (Registrar of Marriages), Father Alec McAuliffe (priest), Bridget, Mary, Theresa and then Jack.Timothy was a Regimental Sergeant Major in the 87th Royal Irish Fusiliers for over 20 years; possibly the info you have on his father being in the service.Hope this might work out for you.My mother met him when he visited England to visit his half-brother, William Victor, when he was in London. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters by his father's 2d marriage to Cecilia Gifford, from Wexford, Ireland.
