BERRY McBEE HIGH POINT — Berry McBee, 82, died Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at High Point Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday at People's Chapel in High Point.
McBee was born on November 17, 1924 in Greenville, S.C., a son of the late Jerry McBee and Sarah Williams McBee.
Berry attended High Point Public Schools. He worked for Don & Kay SIlver and later retired from Kay Chemical Co. in Greensboro. He was a devoted and loving father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories seven daughters, Josephine Sturdivant and Linda McBee, both of Philadelphia, Pa., Sarah (Jerry) Broadie of Thomasville, Ora Mae (Penny) McBee of Winston Salem, Jacqueline Brown of High Point, Deborah A. McBee and Patricia (Frnak) Small, both of High Point; three sons, Jerry L. McBee of Columbia, S.C., Willis L. Cathey Sr. and Donald R. Cathey, both of High Point; two special nieces, Gladys Chavis and her husband Glen and Shirley Raper and her husband, A.V., all of High Point; one special sister-in-law, Evella McBee of Tarboro; 18 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, one great, great grandchild and many other relatives and friends.

A wake will be held from 7-8 p.m. at People's Chapel. The family will receive friends in Thomasville.
