Greetings Vonna:
My cousin and I are researching the Richardon family tree, which led us to your posting (below)about Harbirt Richardson and Jermina Pilkinton. We really enjoyed your story!I can't find any records (census, birth, death, marriage certs) on Harbirt or Jermina: or anything before Linda/Lida and T.J. McCarver. We'd be thrilled if you can help us!
We too are descendants of T.J. McCarver and Lida, or Lydia as my grandmother had her listed in the family bible. We are from the Lola lineage, their daughter. Lola's son, William Leroy Richardson was our maternal grandfather.
We look forward to hearing from another cousin =)
Thank you,
Kathleen O'Hession
Harbirt Richardson (Richeson was how it is spelled when he married Jermina Pilkinton in Monroe, Co. Tenn on 16 Nov. 1847) They went to Illinois for a short time and then on to just south of Branson, Mo. where they had a tanning business that was burned to the ground during the Civil War. From there they went to Clarksville/Cole Township, Sebastian Co. Ark.
