I do not have much information about Dr. McClatchy, but what I know is this:
(Dr) Vivienne Robison MCCLATCHY b. 17 February 1892, Pilot Point, Denton Co, TX Died 12 January 1931 at Chapel Hill, Orange Co, NC Buried at Rose Hill Cem, Ardmore, Carter Co, OK
She was the daughter of James Franklin 'J. F.' MCCLATCHY and Lucy Ann Alexander ROBISON. She never married.
Her mother was daughter of Joel W. ROBISON, one of the men who gained fame by capturing Mexican general Santa Anna at the battle of San Jacinto. Her sister was Zula McClatchy, who married Lemuel Burris, Clerkof the Chickasaw Nation Court; Lemuel's father (Rev) Colbert Ashalatubbi BURRIS was inducted into the Chickasaw Hall of Fame a few years ago in recognition of his services in helping the Chickasaw Nation rebuild after the Civil War. The McClatchy family of Texas has various other connections with both Native American and Confederate American families and issues.
In doing research I discovered a citation for Dr McClatchy's work as follows:
If you have more specific requests about Dr. McClatchy I will try to answer them, but please keep in mind that I was not personally acquainted with Dr. McClatchy nor her immediate family, what I know is through my genealogical researches. I am a descendant of Albert Alexander McClatchy Jr, the brother of her father. That makes Vivienne and I cousins twice removed.
I regret that I do not have any photographs of Dr. McClatchy. I am also not familiar with her work in Florida and would appreciate receiving copies of any materials you have about Dr. McClatchy's career.
