I think I have tracked one of my family lines back to a George McCloskey/McCluskey/McCleskey who shows up in the 1860 and 1870 U.S. Censuses as a resident of Charles Town, MA. (The McCloskey spelling is the one my family uses, but some of the census records I have found used the other spellings.) It looks like George was born around 1825, in Ireland. His wife Ann was born around 1834. (The 1860 census says she was born in Ireland; the 1870 census says New Brunswick.) George and Ann had a number of children, all born in Massachusetts - Louise/Louisa, George A., Anna (appears to have died in childhood), Teresa (appears to have died in childhood), Arthur, and Charles Bernard, who was born around 1865-66. Charles B. shows up in the census in 1910 as a resident of Boston. He was married to Mary Eleanor (don't know her maiden name), who was born in Canada, and their children were Walter, Louise, Charles, George, and Henry Francis (everybody called him "Luke"), born in 1904.Ring any bells?
